Heat Concentration & Circulation
The insulated structure of the dryer hood traps the heat radiated by the steam-heated dryer cylinders, forming a stable high-temperature environment inside the hood. Hot air circulates continuously within the enclosed space, transferring heat to the wet paper web more evenly and reducing heat loss to the workshop environment.

Moisture Collection & Discharge
As the wet paper web dries on the hot dryer cylinders, water vapor evaporates from its surface. The dryer hood collects this moisture-laden air. Equipped with an exhaust system (fans and ducts), it draws out the humid air and discharges it outside the hood. In advanced systems, the hot humid air is also recycled for heat recovery to further save energy.

Airflow Control for Quality Assurance
The hood is designed with adjustable airflow channels to control the speed and direction of hot air. Stable, uniform airflow prevents uneven drying of the paper web, avoiding defects such as paper shrinkage, warping, or surface cracks, and ensuring consistent quality of the finished paper.
